Ah yes, prom hairdos and prom updos. No one wants to have a bad prom hair day on prom night. Make sure you practice, practice, practice the prom hair style you want to wear before the big day. Prom hair tip: It's sometimes a good idea to make two prom hair appointments. 1) to experiment with different prom hair styles and the other to do the prom hairstyle that you want on the day of prom. Don't be late for your prom hair appointment. We have heard too many girls tell us that because they were late, they were not able to get their stylist do their prom hair style. Wear a button down shirt to your prom hair appointment. This way you will not mess up your prom hair styles when you take your clothes off.

Let's face it, no one is the perfect model size. That means prom dress alterations which may be time consuming are a necessary part of purchasing any prom dress if you want it to look perfect on you  Trains: If your dress has a small train, we suggest having your seamstress put a bustle on it. This involves sewing a handmade hook and eye to the back of the prom dress so that the dress can be brought up to floor length for dancing. To do this, lift the train to where it should be fastened to become floor length. Sew a small fancy pearl or crystallized button onto the back of the dress to this area (around the calves). Next you sew a loop of thread where the train needs to be brought up. Loop the threads around the button and viola! A dress made for dancing.

Always remember the longer the skirt, the higher the heel. Some shoes can be dyed to match however, most promers will opt for a prom shoe that matches the prom dress, prom gloves, prom jewelry, prom handbags or even prom garters and can be worn again. Silver, white, tan and black will be the favorite colors adorned with rhinestones and metal laces.
