If I am approved, then what? Once you receive your start up package, the directions in the 'Starter Manual" will take you through the simple steps needed to get started. Trunk shows are held two times a year. Season one is January thru April. Season two is August thru October. You will choose a date to have your first fashion trunk show. Once you have confirmed your date with us, you can then send invitations to invite friends, customers, and family to attend your show. Your racks will arrive first so that you can set these up first. Two days prior to your show, your dresses will arrive with the color photo manual. Choose a room in your home you will change into your fashion showroom for the week. If you don't want to hold the trunk show in your own home, many people opt to use the banquet room in their local country club. Some rent a temporary site in their local mall, whereas others are using the banquet room at a local hotel. Your next step is to advertise your week long trunk show. Send out your invitations to family and friends. If you wish to connect with customers who you don't know yet, put up posters at local high schools or ads in the local high school newspapers. Once your guests arrive you will have no problem helping them try on the dresses they select. Your 'Starter Manual; will teach you how to be a top notch fashion consultant. When your show is over, like any store, you will process your sales, place your orders and send the dresses onto the next fashion store/trunk showing. When the ordered merchandise arrives, you simply deliver it to your customers. Sounds easy?..... It is.
