Exchanges

Due to the nature of the industry, most social occasion stores do not offer exchanges on their merchandise, but we do! We hope that you love your dress when you receive it, but we do understand that sometimes it is hard to choose the correct size. If you have received your dress and it is too large or too small, you can exchange the dress one time for another size in that same style and color if still available at the time the exchange is requested. To be eligible for an exchange you need to contact us within 48 hours of the UPS delivery of your package as we are here 7 days a week. Customer will be responsible for a 10% restocking fee for the exchange and additional shipping charges to send the new dress back to you. Free shipping does not apply on exchanges. Customer is responsible for fees associated with shipping the dress back to us via FedEx or UPS. The package must be postmarked within 4 days of delivery of the dress. Anything sent back after 4 days, without an RA, or after the wear date given on the order will not be accepted and all shipping charges will be charged to the customer. The dress must be unworn and in the same condition that you received it with original tags attached. Any item that is not in the same condition or appears to have been worn, washed, altered, or changed in any way will not be eligible for the exchange. Any packages sent via United States Postal Service (USPS) will be refused.

All International orders, sale merchandise, and jewelry/accessories are a FINAL SALE and are not exchangeable. You will be responsible for any shipping fees associated on any dress that is sent back to you because it does not meet the exchange policy.

Exchange Check List

To be Eligible for an exchange, the following needs to be true:
  • Dress was delivered less than 48 hours ago (includes Saturday & Sunday because we are here 7 days a week)
  • Dress is in same condition as received with original tags attached
  • Not past the wear date given on the order
  • Other size needed for exchange is available
  • RA is postmarked within 4 days from original UPS delivery date
If you answered yes to all of the above questions, please follow these steps to continue with an exchange.
  • Contact customer service at support@promdressshop.com with the subject line "exchange" or 877-299-3786 with the alternate size needed. If available they will issue you an RA number that you will write ON THE OUTSIDE of the box.
  • Ship the dress back to the address given via UPS or FedEx within 4 days of UPS delivery of the original dress and please keep your tracking number for reference.
  • Choose the shipping method that you would like us to ship out the new dress to you with and we will charge you for that shipping method plus the 10% restocking fee.
  • Once we receive your original dress back, we will ship out your new dress to you and send you your tracking number if it meets 100% of the exchange criteria.
