2008 Prom Shoes
Prom Shoes 2008
Heels are higher for the 2008 designer prom shoe season. The best prom
shoes seem to be adorned with what girls refer to as there 'best friend',
diamonds. Well, maybe not real diamonds by the next best thing, rhinestones
and bobbles. Prom shoes compete with prom jewelry this year as most are
adorned with what looks like rhinestone necklaces. Prom shoes heels are
high (2 5/8" is typical for the 2008). Remember the longer the skirt, the
higher the heel. Shoes can be dyed to match however, most promers will opt
for a prom shoe that matches the prom dress, prom gloves, prom jewelry, prom handbags or even prom garters and can be worn again. Silver, white, tan and
black will be the favorite colors adorned with rhinestones and metal laces.
Tip for promers: wear your shoes around the house to break them in before
the big dance. If you don't wear heels very often practice so that you
won't have an embarrassing fall during prom. New heels should always be
worn in enough to cause the bottom front to get scuffed. Unscuffed bottom's
are very slippery. Check out the anti slip Surewalkers that can be stuck to
the bottom of your shoes to prevent injuries at http://www.promdressshop.com/cgi-bin/cart.pl?IT=SureWalker.
