Want to see Patrick Dempsey try to be ‘cool’ and do awkward ‘trendy’ dance moves? This one is for you. It turns out he was actually watching a dance on the Africa Cultural Channel. He ends up doing that dance at prom which gets a very strong reaction from the student body.

Mean Girls (2004)

Although this dance is technically a “Spring Fling” instead of a prom, I think we can all agree it is one of the most memorable high school dances of all movies. Gretchen Weiners shows up looking “so fetch” in a great short blue tulle, and typical Regina George shows up looking perfect(ly plastic) in a short strapless pink dress even while wearing a full head brace. Last, but definitely not least, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) shows up to the Spring Fling just after finishing a mathletes contest and still in full mathletes garb. We’re going to assume you’ve seen this one, but if not, it’s definitely worth checking out.
